Kissankäpälärinteessä oli tänään leivontapäivä. Äiti heräsi anivarhain ja laittoi hihat heilumaan pitkojen kanssa, Niksu-koira odottaa josko onni potkaisisi ja taikinaa päätyisi lattiallekin...

They baked at the Cat Paw Hill's today. Mom got up early in the morning and put her hands to dough. Niksu the dog is waiting if there would be some dropped on the floor...

Kissankäpälärinne 3 / Cat's Paw Hill 3

Tässä on 8-v. tyttären nukketalo, Kissankäpälärinne. Talo on Darthmouth ja se on ostettu ulkopuolelta maalattuna joskus kolmisen vuotta sitten. Remppasin sen silloin tytölle lahjaksi, ja hankin pikkulapsenkestävät kalusteet. Nyt on vähitellen uusittu hienommiksi noita tavaroita ja nuketkin on vaihtuneet.

This is my 8 year old daughter's dollshouse called Cat's Paw Hill 3. House is a Darthmouth Dollshouse and it has been bought about three years ago with painted walls outside but unfinished inside. I did the house for a present and got "child-proof" furniture. Now we have little by little changed the furniture for fancier ones and also the dolls are new.

Alakerta on aika tyhjillään, koska vielä hetki sitten siellä oli talli - ja nyt kennel koirille ;) Tyttö tulee saamaan joululahjaksi kellarikerroksen, josta teen ihan oikean tallin karsinoineen kaikkineen, ja sitten pitää keksiä jotain järkevää alakertaan.

Portaikot puuttuvat - silloin kolme vuotta sitten ajattelit, etteivät ne kestä leikeissä enkä laittanut paikoilleen, mutta nyt ne pitäisi maalata ja asentaa. Valaistus on hoidettu Ikean led-sarjalla, jonka lamput ovat hyvin valotehoiset mutta aika rumat ja isot - pitäisi tehdä jotkut plafondit niiden päälle.

The downstairs is quite empty because just a while ago horse stables were situated in there. And there is a kennel for breeding dogs ;) My dauhter will get a basement for the house and it will be the stables. Then we should come uo with some idea on what to put downstairs.

The stairs are missing - three years ago I thought that they wouldn't last for long in the hands of a five year old but now I should paint them and put them to place. The lights are from Ikea. They are very bright but quite big and ugly so I should make some coverings or lamp shades.

Keittiö / Kitchen

Keittiöön ostin nukkekotikirppikseltä lisää huonekaluja, ja Minimaailmasta tuolit, jotka maalasin valkoisiksi. Pöytä löytyi viime keväänä jonkun sisustusliikkeen ale-korista. Jääkaappi on Sylvanian-sarjaa ja ihan liian pieni, mutta tyttö tykkää siitä.

We got some new furniture to the kitchen from the facebook Dollshouse Market and the chairs are new too. The fridge is the Sylvanian -series and it is definitely too small for this scale but my daughter like it.

Kovasti on tiskiä... / Pile of dishes...

Tässäkin riittää vielä näperrettävää, ja kunnes joskus saan oman nukkiksen, niin on tyytyminen salaleikkeihin tyttären talossa :)

There is lot to do in here and until I get a house of my own I can always secretly play with this one :)
